Friday AM Prayer Focus: God's Splendor

Dezember 30, 2010 10:43 by DanJ

Praise the LORD from the earth... kings of the earth and all nations,
you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and women,
old men and children. Let them praise the name of the LORD,
   for his name alone is exalted;
his splendor is above the earth and the heavens. Psalm 148:7a,11-12

We anticipate our time together with You dear Lord at the event Vertical or wherever You would have us spend this New Year's Eve.  We look forward to praising Your name.  We look forward to spending a special time with You dear Holy Spirit, a time set apart to be with You.  Help us to find that time and place.  We thank You God for Your mercy and blessings for the year past.  We need Your continued counsel and Your insight for the year ahead.  Annoint us this day for the times ahead.  Pour out your oil of gladness and joy and peace and strength.  Give us a vision for Your healing of our land.  Give us a prayer and praise for the wonderous things You do and continue to do all around us.  Your name is exalted above all things.  You are full of splendor and glory!

Friday Prayer for Israel - 8:30 AM - The Promise Is Sure, As Is The Fulfillment

Dezember 30, 2010 9:49 by Roger

Genesis 28:13-15,  "...I AM the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants.  Your descendants shall also be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."

Thursday AM Focus: Our God is an awesome God

Dezember 29, 2010 10:04 by Roger

Our God is stronger!  There is nothing stronger than Him who dwells in our hearts by faith.

Rom.8:11 says, "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you."

The Spirit of God in you was present and dynamic at the resurrection of Jesus.   He has been present and dynamic throughout all of church history.  In every challenge.  In every victory of faith.

Don't say you are not prepared for some task of obedience.  The Spirit in you has been there, done that.  We can know the will of God.  The Word of God is the will of God.  We are being led by the Holy Spirit when we do what the Word of God tells us. Whatever you do in obedience to the Word of God will release the Holy Spirit's presence and power upon you. Our God is stronger than anything you will ever face.  Bless His holy name!   "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me".

Wednesday AM Prayer Focus: Going Vertical

Dezember 28, 2010 11:58 by Peter

Ps. 149:3-5 (NIV ©2010)
3 Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.

4 For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
5 Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.

Lord, grant us an exuberant spirit of worship as we gather together from across the valley to honor You at the end of this year and the start the next. May our praise and adoration be a fragrant offering that You delight in. Jesus, You are sooo worthy to be worshiped! Even if we doze off or go get some rest during part of the 26 hours, help us sing for joy in the Spirit. We want You to have a mighty victory advancing Your kingdom in our valley! http://hovhop.com/updates-events/vertical/

Dezember 27, 2010 5:51 by Ivy

Thank you Lord for the upcoming event "Vertical". Please bless it with your favor. Because of your love impart desire in the  families of this valley to seek you as one. Draw your Bride in greater unity and compel us during the 26 hours of worship and prayer. Because you are Lord we ask that you would make a mockery out of every plot to stop this gathering instead grant us your protection over it and may your presence be found as we seek your face amen!

Monday AM Prayer Focus: Decisions of Faith

Dezember 26, 2010 10:53 by DanJ

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.  Hebrews 11:1-3

We pray to You Lord for lives of faith.  Replace our weakness with strength of the knowledge of You and who You are.  Help Christians throughout the world make decisions based on faith.  You are greater than any obstacle, any encumbrance.  Help us to always turn to solutions that come from You.

Dezember 25, 2010 9:02 by BJ

Psalm 31:24 Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord!

Oh Papa, my soul does magnify your name. You alone are worthy to receive all the glory and honor and praise. I take and posses and dwell in the courage you have portion out to me. I am blessed and exhalt your name. My hope is in you. I love you.  Father, as your bride we are desperate for more of you. As the church, meets today, would you come and be apart of our services. Would you fill everyone who is seeking. Help them to take a hold of every thought. Help them to posses the Word. Help them to see and understand you are the Hope of the world. Give to them courage. Amen.

Praise Report from Arizona

Dezember 24, 2010 11:04 by DanJ

Non-stop prayer transforming Arizona

The ‘Torch’ is a non stop prayer journey across Arizona that has impacted all levels of society, bringing unity and decimating crime rates. It was launched on Dec. 31st 2008 by15 people from 13 churches committed to fill 2009 with continual prayer by 52 prayer teams each covering one week of non stop prayer within their community of churches. As one team finished their week of prayer a person from the host church travelled to the next host location passing on a cheap camping lantern. The new hosts started their week with the lantern and a time of worship and sharing stories of what God has done and is doing. This non stop prayer continued through the following two years. The police report amazing crime rate decrease and the churches have seen incredible fruit including salvations, deliverances, new jobs and family reconciliations. The Torch will have been in almost 40 cities by the end of 2010.
