Tues Prayer Focus: The Family

February 28, 2011 8:10 PM by Ivy

Thank you that blessed are all who fear you and who walk in your ways!
We ask on behalf of the families of the mid-Willamette valley; shape uss into families who have integrity, who follow your word and search for you with all of our hearts. Convict us when we compromise with evil turning us back to walk only in your paths. Help us to keep your truth, that our actions would consistently reflect your principles. Don't give up on us, but give us desire to live as we should amen! Blessed be your name! Amen!

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.

Oh Papa, thank you for gardening, pruning and grafting all those who call on Your Name. Thank you for making a place for us, gentiles, in Your Holy Tribe of Israel. For giving us new life and hope. We come singing and dancing adoration before your throne. You alone are the Holy One. You alone are God. And we love you.

Saturday AM Prayer Focus: The People on Your Heart

February 25, 2011 11:19 PM by Gary P.

Ruler of the Heavens, Maker of the earth, Blessed Lord and Savior, bring Your plans to birth, as we intercede, Spirit light our way, touch the ones around us as we pray.  Here we are Father, waiting for Your word. Speak and we will hear You, show us how to serve. The man who needs Your mercy,  The child who’s lost her way, lead us by Your Spirit, as we pray, pray for the people on Your heart and we believe that if we seek You we can touch the people On Your heart.

Friday AM Prayer Focus: Order Our Priorities

February 25, 2011 6:38 AM by DanJ

Luke 10:27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind’, and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”

Dear Lord we pray that you will help us Your church manage our priorities.  We can do nothing without You Lord.  We need to develop our relationship with You and then work towards sharing the truth of who You are with the whole world.  We love You Lord and want to know You more.  We want to understand You more.  We want to be closer to You.  Help us in our efforts.  We also want to help our fellow man with our efforts on this earth.  Help us to be used effectively in that work.  Thank you Lord.

Friday Prayer for Israel - 8:30 AM - To Behold the Beauty of the LORD

February 24, 2011 10:12 PM by Roger

Psalm 27:4   Oh, that Israel would "behold the beauty of the LORD".   To trust in Him whom they crucified, to confidently trust Him when enemies surround them, to seek Him who rose triumphantly from out of death to justify the many.  I ask that Israelies will become the habitation of God, the dwelling place of God, the tabernacle of God amongst men.  That my Jewish brothers will desire Your presence and delight in You.    Natural men want an impressive tabernacle overlaid in gold.   Spiritual men recognize Your beauty, Your majestic splendor dwelling within the human body.  With all the normal turmoil of life in the Middle East, I want all Israel to dwell with You, Lord Jesus, You in them, and they in You;  and to see Your beauty.   You are altogether delightfulness.

Thursday AM Focus - Called to excellence

February 23, 2011 9:40 PM by Roger

Exodus 35:30-35.   The Lord called by name a guy named Bezalel to take charge of building the tabernacle.    And the Lord filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all craftsmanship; to make designs for working in gold, silver, bronze, and in cutting stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, so as to perform in every inventive work.  He also put it into his heart to teach his skill to others.

This guy was not a casual laborer, not a slacker, not an ignoramous.  He was a design engineer of the highest caliber.   He had an artistic eye for detail.  He worked hard with skill.  He knew alot about everything.  He understood how things worked. He could work off of a print (model) and follow instructions.  He knew how to train others and how to delegate.   He got the job done.   He is honored in Holy Scriptures.

There are guys and gals like him in our churches.  Quality folks, called to excellence.   We sometimes take them for granted without acknowledging their personal sacrifices and labors of love.  Maybe they do 100 things very well without praise, and then do 1 thing poorly, or perhaps neglect one thing, and find criticism.  Could we instead speak words of encouragement and appreciation to them?    God filled Bezalel with the Holy Spirit and gave him all the skill, resources, and helpers he needed to do the job.  Could we pray for our person in that position, that God would do the same for them?    When the tabernacle was finished, Moses examined everything to see that it was done exactly as the Lord had commanded,  so Moses blessed them.  (Ex.39:43)    How could we bless our guy?

Wednesday AM Prayer Focus: Intensify our worship!

February 22, 2011 10:55 PM by Peter

2 Chronicles 20:21-22 ... Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:

“Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.”

22 As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

Father, just as you gave this strategy of using the worship of Your people to defeat the physical armies in the days of Jehoshaphat, please help us raise up "warfare worship" in our day to set the Willamette Valley free from the demonic bondages we face. Please pour out Your Spirit of worship upon the musicians, singers, prayer leaders, and all Your saints in the Valley to give You thanks and declare Your great love! May the mighty deliverance that You send glorify You and greatly advance Your Kingdom!

Wednesday 7:30 a.m. Prayer Focus: Mike Silva International

February 22, 2011 2:05 PM by Vicki

Luke 13:35 " Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord"

Father as all who labor in MSI go with the gospel would you bless them?  Would you allow them to bring hope as they preach and teach the good news of Christ?  Would you let them be salt and light wherever they go and cause them to be atmosphere changers?  Thank you for your chosen vessels. Protect them Lord.

Tuesday AM Prayer Focus: Revival - Psalm 24:3-10

February 21, 2011 11:25 PM by Sarah

Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?

The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.

They will receive blessing from the LORD
and vindication from God their Savior.

Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.

Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

Who is this King of glory?
   The LORD strong and mighty,
   the LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

Who is he, this King of glory?
   The LORD Almighty—
he is the King of glory.

Monday AM Prayer Focus: For All Those in Authority

February 20, 2011 9:35 PM by Roger

1 Timothy 2:1-3, "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we might lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.  This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior."
