Wednesday 7:30 a.m. prayer focus: Mike Silva International

Mai 31, 2011 11:27 by Vicki

Rom. 10:14-15........." and how shall they hear without a preacher?"

We echo that cry Lord asking for you to make a way for every preacher to be able to go to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic this month.  We ask that every financial need would be met for this festival and that every support staff and volunteer would be in place.  Would you bless the feet of those bringing good news to this city and protect them from the evil one?  thank you,

amen

Tues AM Prayer focus: spreading the good news

Mai 30, 2011 5:50 by Ivy

We honor and praise you Lord Jesus for making a way to reconcile all mankind to you! All glory belongs to you who sits at the right hand of the God the Father!
We ask that your parting words, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere," would become more and more of a reality in the lives of the saints. Because you are, Lord of the harvest, as ask you to thrust us into the harvest now! Help us to lift our eyes to see how ripe the harvest is. Grant us hearts of courage to share your love with everyone, everywhere thank you! Send your Spirit before us opening spiritual eyes and ears while breaking up  hearts of stone to receive a seed that you can cause to grow into new birth in your name. Help all to believe and be saved amen!

Remembrance

Mai 29, 2011 10:41 by KarenE

Father, today as we remember the sacrifice of our servicemen, as we remember our loved ones who have each touched our lives, help us remember that it is You who have given us a heart of service, a spirit of courage, and hope for tomorrow.

We honor and remember those who have given their all, those who have loved us, those who have given their service to our nation and the world.

May we remember and honor Jesus who laid down His life to set us free.

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."  John 15:13

Sunday AM Prayer Focus: Examine Our Lives

Mai 29, 2011 8:51 by BJ

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. Psalm 119:71-72

Dear Lord, we thank You that You have us examine our lives even through the hard times. In particular we thank You for Your conviction and chastening. Today we pray that the church would desire to examine their hearts. That You would search us and try us and examine our ways. Bless our efforts in this... that even our guilt would be a benefit, as it causes us to change our ways and become more like You.

Thursday P.M. Prayer Focus: Strengthen the weary

Mai 25, 2011 12:57 by Vicki

Is. 35:3 " strengthen the weary hands, firm the feeble knees".

Lord we lift up intercessors, pastors, evangelists, apostles, teachers, prophets and all who are laboring in your field in the mid willamette valley and ask for strength.  We thank you that you give strength to the weary and the broken hearted, that you see the pain and the wounding of your bride as she represents you.  We ask for supernatural vigor to flood her body soul and spirit and cause her to rise up triumphant, victorious and full of your joy.

amen

Wednesday AM Prayer Focus: Risky Prayers

Mai 24, 2011 8:01 by Peter

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Father, I admit that I would rather pray prayers of praise, thanks, or intercession for others, rather than prayers of personal confession. Thank You for the solemn assembly in Albany last week where dozens of Your people were humbling ourselves, praying, seeking Your face, and even personally turning from our sin. Help us take the risk of being willing to admit where we have either done wrong or failed to do what You have called us to do. Grant us willing hearts to hear the conviction from You that will turn us from our rebellion against You. Thank You for Your promise to hear us and answer with healing when we come to You this way.
