August 31, 2012 7:45 by Peter

Psalm 85:6
Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?

Oh, Lord, we long for more of Your presence in our lives, more encounter with You, more of Your love flowing through us to our needy world. Father, we thank You for the week of praise and worship in Albany next week, and ask Your outpouring upon all those who participate and through us to our region. Come Holy Spirit and revive us again!

Thursday AM Prayer Focus - Bringing the Kingdom of God to bear upon our world

August 29, 2012 10:58 by Roger

What would your family dynamic and your home look like if the Kingdom of God influenced them?  What changes would occur?

What would your work place, or business look like if it was part of the Kingdom of God?    What effects would it have on the products, services, customers, employees?

What would our city look like if it were under the sovereignty of God's Kingdom?   What things would go away?  What things would be added?   What things would be adjusted, or changed and in what ways?

Jesus taught us to pray, "... Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth ..."

Wednesday 6:30 AM Prayer Focus: Break Forth

August 29, 2012 8:00 by Peter

Galatians 4:26-28 Amplified Bible (AMP)

26 But the Jerusalem above (the Messianic kingdom of Christ) is free, and she is our mother.

27 For it is written in the Scriptures, Rejoice, O barren woman, who has not given birth to children; break forth into a joyful shout, you who are not feeling birth pangs, for the desolate woman has many more children than she who has a husband.

28 But we, brethren, are children [not by physical descent, as was Ishmael, but] like Isaac, born in virtue of promise.

Father, we yearn for Your salvation to come to tens of thousands of people here in our communities. We call out to You to pour out Your grace for people to be born again, to grow in Christ, and abide in You. We lift up our voices in praise to You for being so loving, so involved in our lives, and so abundantly able to bring us into Your forever family. Please draw Your saints together for the week of 24/7 Prayer Sept. 4-10 in Albany.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
(Prov. 4:23)

Father, I will attend to Your Word. I will put Your Word first. I will incline my ear unto Your sayings. I will not let those words depart from before my eyes. I will keep them in the midst of my heart. I will walk in health and healing. I will walk in the life of God.

amen

Friday AM Prayer Topic: Water and Spirit

August 23, 2012 10:49 by DanJ

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. John 3:5-8

Lord we need to hear Your sound, the sound of rebirth, birth of the Spirit.  Please visit our town of Albany with revival fire.  Send Your Spirit in power and in truth.  We ask You Lord for Your strength to be brought to Your people.  Please Lord, to those who seek You we ask that Your give them more of Your power.  For those who are weak in the things of the Spirit, we ask that you would revive them.  For those who don't know You we ask that You will will reveal Yourself to them.

Monday AM Prayer Focus: All Things Work Together for Good

August 19, 2012 10:11 by Diane

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.

Dear God, This verse challenges us. You said all things work together for good to those who love You. All things encompasses the good and the difficult. Help our trust in You to grow so that when we are in the midst of a trial, we do not waver and question what You are doing or allowing. Help us to remain faithful knowing that You will work it out and give us comfort, wisdom, and direction. Amen.

Monday AM Prayer Focus: The Lord Hears

August 19, 2012 9:53 by Diane

I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. Psalm 116:1-2.

Thank you Lord for hearing us when we pray to You. Thank you that You are not a God who is far away and aloof from the happenings of Your people. You hear us! Therefore we will lift up our prayers to You as long as we have breath. We are grateful and thankful that You know us better than we know ourselves. Amen.
